Though they aren’t as secure and efficient as the paid software, many people would rather take the risk than to pay for one. PC World, teaming up with AV-Test.org of Germany, put some of the currently available free antivirus software against each other. Each software’s scan speed, detection rates and ability to stop malware was tested.
